A Dartmouth man is held without bail for allegedly stabbing a woman to death. His mental competency is being evaluated.

Tyler Dow Baglini, 31, is due to be arraigned Monday in New Bedford District Court for the murder of 31-year-old Kerri Fidalgo, prosecutors said.

Kerri Fidalgo, 31, was found stabbed to death in New Bedford Friday. A Dartmouth man will be charged, the DA's office said.

The victim, Kerri Fidalgo, was rushed to an area hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, according to the District Attorney.
