Hurricane season officially ends on November 30th and while the end of the season is near, the tropics could get active again soon. The National Hurricane Center has an area they are keeping a close eye on in the Caribbean just south of Jamaica that has an 80 percent chance of becoming a tropical system in the next 7 days.

An area of low pressure in the Caribbean Sea, Invest-99, producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms, could soon develop into “Sara.”
