Ballad Health: Everyone rescued from Unicoi County Hospital
All patients and personnel who were stranded at Unicoi County Hospital amid historic flooding have been rescued, according to Ballad Health. Ballad announced that as of 4:40 p.m., everyone had been successfully evacuated from the hospital.

Unicoi County Hospital is in Erwin, Tennessee, around 100 miles east of Knoxville and Pigeon Forge. The region saw intense flooding Friday as Tropical Storm Helene, downgraded from a hurricane, barreled through the Southeast, inflicting flooding and power outages across multiple states.
More than 50 people were stranded at Unicoi County Hospital in Erwin, Ballad Health said in a Friday afternoon statement.
