It was a story of too little, too late for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears (1-2) during their loss to the Indianapolis Colts (1-2). Playing from behind most of the game, Williams and the Bears offense had to try and fight back after shooting themselves in the foot with three turnovers.

Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson posted a passer rating of 39 — and still managed to win the game. Since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, the Bears have held an opposing team to a passer rating of 40 or less 99 times.

The defensive front: All-around, a good performance by the Colts defensive line. The Bears averaged just 2.3 yards per carry and the Colts were able to generate some pressure on Williams as well. The overall success of the defense began with their play in the run game.
