The subject matter came as he spoke about his upcoming A24 film The Smashing Machine, a biopic about wrestler Mark Kerr, directed by Benny Safdie and co-starring Emily Blunt. Unlike many of his other projects, the upcoming film is not intended for large audiences.

Dwayne Johnson is many things: movie star, businessman, and now, confirmed bottle urinator. In a video profile the star filmed for GQ, he himself brought up the allegations that filming on Red One was tainted by his penchant for peeing in empty bottles and showing up extremely late to set.

Johnson called the controversy “bullshit,” but said he’s an open book when it comes to these types of claims: “I’ve said a thousand times: ‘Hey, I’m here. Come and ask me. And I’ll tell you the truth.’”
