Two people were hospitalized Thursday following single-vehicle crash into a guardrail on the Garden State Parkway in Essex County, authorities said. The crash occurred about 4:25 a.m. in the northbound lanes near milepost 150.

State troopers are investigating a crash Monday night on the Garden State Parkway that left several people injured. Around 9:55 p.m. troopers responded to reports of a crash on the Garden State Parkway Exit 142 B ramp,

The crash happened just before midnight on Saturday on the northbound side of the parkway in Woodbridge Township.

A Brick resident died Saturday morning when his SUV overturned while exiting the Garden State Parkway in Atlantic County, police said. Troy E. Thompson, 62, was driving southbound shortly before 9:30 a.m. when he took the 38A exit ramp in Egg Harbor Township, according to a New Jersey State Police spokesman.

A serious crash was reported Sunday afternoon, Sept. 8 on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River.The NJDOT site says only that two right lanes were closed as of 1:15 p.m. on the southbound side for a crash with injuries.

One man was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident. When first responders arrived at the intersection of West 26th and Sassafras streets around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, they found a box truck traveling east along West 26th Street had collided with an SUV heading south on Sassafras.
